The garden was a lovely spot for a nap in the sun, and the peaceful setting made it easy to relax. This BB is also well placed for a few days around La Rochelle and Cognac, or as a restful break on the drive between the ferry ports and the south. Ash speaks French perfectly and is a welcoming host who is happy to help with anything. The rooms are superb, and the breakfasts were amazing. While we were there, two pilgrims walking the camino to Santiago passed close by the BB. A calm, delightful place to recharge and feel cared for.

The room matched its description, and the host was spectacular, always willing to go the extra mile. He'd probably even make his guests a full English breakfast. A great fit for either a stopover or a relaxing holiday. Cheers!

Ash was a great host, and we had a large, relaxing garden to enjoy. My wife and I spent two nights here, with plenty to see and do nearby. The house and our roomy en-suite were great, especially for such a reasonable price. It's only 10 minutes from the A10, making it an easy stop on the way elsewhere or a lovely place for a few days. We’ll be back.
