We came out late to catch the aurora and may have woken the neighbours, since the old building has thin walls and squeaky floors. Still, the location is great if you want quiet. The restaurant serves local specialties, and the Ratafia aperitif is worth trying. There’s also a nice pond right outside for a walk, and the night sky is very clear.

The dog supplement was 5€, which felt like too much, especially when it seemed too expensive for a person as well. The toilet smelled of cat piss, the owner was as rude as you can imagine, and most of the food was reheated beige.

A nice spot surrounded by nature, with a lake right in front of the hotel. The restaurant is good too.

It was fine.

We were stranded on the road on December 22nd with around sixty other people, and a family, the parents and their daughter, took us in. They offered calm, warmth, kindness, and a listening ear, with real empathy, professionalism, and care for their guests. They did everything they could to turn what should have been a difficult day and night into an unforgettable holiday experience. Meeting them was a pure joy. A fellow stranded traveler.
