We finally found a place in Saint-Leu that feels just right for us. Le Pétrel Bleu has a lovely ocean view and a small beach is easy to reach. The apartment is clean and modern, with a very comfortable bed and a sleeper couch in the living room. Double-glazed windows helped us sleep well, and there's a fan and air conditioner to cool things down when needed. We love spending time in Saint-Leu, and the town center is an easy walk, around 10 minutes away. When you want a break from Créole food, try Pizza Rico, just a few minutes on foot. Fontaine Aromatique is also worth a short drive up the road, especially if you'd like to learn how essential oils are made and have the option to buy some there.

The balcony has a lovely view, perfect for breakfast or an aperitif. The apartment is clean, nicely decorated, and air-conditioned, with very good quality bedding. St Leu is about a 15-minute walk away.

The balcony view is fantastic, and the hostess took great care of us. The apartment was very clean and thoughtfully set up, with everything we needed and a powerful air conditioner.

We had a memorable stay at Le Pétrel Bleu in St. Leu. It's an iconic spot for surfers, but it also works as a peaceful getaway. The apartment has been recently renovated and is stylishly decorated, with modern comforts. We appreciated the secure private parking and the very friendly neighbors. Mr. Jean was so welcoming and kind, and really helped make our visit special. We'd happily recommend this legendary place to anyone looking for a great vacation, whether they're keen surfers or just after some quiet.

From the terrace we could spot whales, and the apartment had a direct sea view. Inside, it was incredible, modern, and furnished with tasteful, quality materials. The street-facing exterior looked a little dated, though. Emmanuelle welcomed us warmly and gave us invaluable advice.
