The rooms are very clean, and the location works well, near both the sea and the mountains. At Chouchou's, the hospitality goes both ways: the host makes you feel as if she’s right there with you. Chouchou is lively and down-to-earth, always kind and available without getting in your way. She really tries to make you happy, and her delicious meals come in huge portions. A bed and breakfast NOT TO BE MISSED.

Marie clearly enjoys making her guests feel good. She was enthusiastic and helpful, shared lots of tips about the area, and told us some interesting stories too. We had a very good stay with her :)

The local food was delicious, prepared with real care and passion, and the setting reflected the beauty of Reunion Island. Marie's warm, thoughtful welcome made the stay especially memorable. We came away grateful for the moments of sharing and discovery, and would highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for an authentic stay on the island.

Everything is cooked over a wood fire, and the food is delicious and filling. Marie is a fantastic cook. She welcomed us with so much care at Chouchou's, and she's a lively, smiling, very sociable host. This is a charming, warm, family-friendly place. Don't miss the chance to enjoy Marie's company and hospitality. Highly recommend!

The room was clean and comfortable, and the spot is peaceful and handy for getting to Cilaos. Breakfast was excellent too. Marie is there to welcome you at Chouchou's and makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive. I highly recommend it!
