Moulin de Narrat

The place was clean, warm and cosy, with a good menu and prices that seemed OK. The owners were very nice. Only issue was getting back to the car, there were no lights outside.

Le Moulin de Narrat is sadly permanently closed now. From the times I ate there in the past, though, I’d have rated it five stars.

The old fireplace gives the charming, warm interior a lovely old-fashioned smell. It’s a relaxing place, and the owners are welcoming. Meals use fresh ingredients, and the food is gourmet. It’s well worth the trip.

The meal was delicious, and my room was clean apart from a little dust on the bedside table. The shower pressure was normal, and they provided a hairdryer, cotton swabs and tissues. The TV worked, and I got 3G/H+ at 3 Mbps, though the GSM signal was rather weak. I was welcomed warmly by the owner, but after I’d settled in upstairs and come back down, his wife asked for my ID right after I said a simple “Good evening.” That was a shameful faux pas. I don’t recommend this establishment because the owner was very haughty and unpleasant.
