The hotel’s right by the sea, with a perfect view and easy access from the front door, though bear in mind that not every room has windows facing the sea. The rooms were well organized, if a little small, and the bed was comfortable. The place was clean and the cleaning was spectacular, even when people brought sand in. For a quick stay on a budget, I’d recommend it. We booked two rooms, but one didn’t meet our expectations or the quality we’d been promised because it had a shower curtain instead of glass. They were happy to switch it when we asked, and did so the next day. Some other drawbacks: the pillows were small and too soft, which can definitely cramp your neck if you sleep on your side, and the sheets were often stained or had holes or tears. At night, a vibration noise seemed to come and go without any pattern, waking me up repeatedly and making it hard to sleep. There was no safe, small fridge or boiler, though those may not be guaranteed everywhere.

Our stay was charming, and the staff were professional and helpful. Special thanks to the receptionist who helped us on our last evening and the morning we left, on 5th and 6th September. I’m sorry I don’t know his name. I’ll definitely try to come back to this town and hotel.

We stayed one night with our dog. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful, and our room was spotless with a great view, though a little small. We booked car parking, then took the lift up so we didn’t have to walk our dog through the hotel reception. The seafront location is great, and there’s a park very close by for dog walks.

Breakfast was great, and the secure parking was excellent. The attic room got a little warm at night, but the fan helped. It was busy when we checked in, but the gentleman at the front desk was a credit to the hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

We could hear the waves from our window, which was lovely. The Intra-muros was an easy walk away, and our room had plenty of room for our family of three. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back soon.
