From the hotel, the beach and sea views along the promenade are amazing. It's just a street back from the seafront, and our room looked out toward the port. We stayed for one night before sailing home. The hotel was very comfortable, with professional staff who were happy to help with meal bookings or find us coffee when we arrived a little early. They were great with families too, as we saw. There was a busy Japanese restaurant attached, which we didn't try, but we did eat at their creperie in town and loved it.

The room was warm, thanks to good heating, and very clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and welcoming. One layout issue: the little cabinet with the safe sat right in the walkway, which was inconvenient. It would work better tucked into a corner. An electric kettle would also be a nice addition for making hot water, tea, or coffee. We had a lovely stay, thank you.

The staff were friendly, and the hotel itself was very nice. Its location is ideal, with the old town and beach only a short walk away. We did find the lobby smell unpleasant, though. The nearby café kitchen makes the cooking smell especially noticeable around lunchtime, and we expected the space to smell nicer. Breakfast was the other letdown, with limited choices and less variety than we hoped for.

We'd gladly recommend it after our one-night stay in a triple room. The breakfast was excellent and the decor tasteful. It's close to the beach and a short walk from Intra Muros. We were warmly welcomed, and the staff helped with dinner reservations and recommendations.
