The rooms are uncomfortable partly because the door locks are so loud that leaving while your roommates sleep is guaranteed to wake them. The owner is very unfriendly and seems annoyed whenever people are in his line of sight. The bathrooms and showers are in the hallway, but you aren't allowed to wait there for them to become free, just because. Breakfast is all sweet food. Since I can't stand a sweet breakfast, I ended up eating a bun with salted butter throughout my stay. On the first day I found a dead fly inside my bun when I cut it in half. Very appetising. There are no sinks in the toilets, so you have to open and close the doors with unwashed hands before you can wash them at the sink in your room. Very unhygienic. I think there are much better hotels in this price range.

I stayed one night before catching the ferry and found it good value. The accommodation was basic, clean and comfortable. It’s a bit far from town if you want to see historic St Malo or the beaches.

The room was clean and well kept, and I slept really well. The staff were friendly too, so all in all I had a good stay and would recommend it. I only stayed one night, which worked perfectly, though the room was cold. They said they hadn't turned the heating on yet, so the electric heater had no power. Breakfast wasn't great either. I paid 5€ for a bowl of cornflakes, with bread or yogurt as the other options. A+++

For €63 a night, you can find better places with a private bathroom. The rooms are tiny, and having the bathroom and shower in the hallway is very inconvenient. Noise in the corridors also made it hard to rest. The vending machine charges €1.90 for just 0.5L of water, which is far too much. I won't return and can't recommend this hotel.
