It’s about 45 minutes to St Malo by bike, and there’s also a bus stop a five-minute walk away. The site itself is lovely, with roomy pitches screened by trees and hedges. Reception staff were very helpful, and the toilets and showers were kept clean. There’s a small shop for essentials, plus you can order baguettes and croissants for the next morning.

We paid €25 a night with an Acis card, which was good value. There are some great cycling routes nearby, and the site is well placed for St Marlo and the ferry. The pitches are a good size, and the facilities were clean, with hot showers. We also enjoyed the bar, shop, crazy golf, indoor and outdoor pools, and the sauna and gym.

The chateau makes the campsite a stunning place to stay. The staff were very accommodating and helpful when we lost a booking at another campsite. We’d certainly recommend it, and we’ll be back.

A lovely campsite on the outskirts of St. Malo, though we couldn’t understand why we were given that pitch when the site was only about two-thirds full and there were plenty of empty ones.

The bar was good, though the food options were limited. We were there late in the season, so the restaurant was closed. Our pitch was lovely, and having our own sanitary block was great. The staff were helpful and nice, and the location worked well for the St Malo area. We’d stay again.
