The location was convenient, with a few restaurants nearby and the city centre close by. The hotel itself was decent. One bed looked as if it had been made in a rush, though it was comfortable. At checkout, nobody was at reception; a waitress appeared, but couldn't speak English at all. They also charged us 100€ in case we used anything in the room, and more than a week later I was still waiting for that money back.

The rooms are on the small side, but the place is clean and well looked after. It feels like an outdated 70s hotel that's been turned into a hip 70s hotel.

We'd booked for eight people, but there was no hot water when we arrived. They then wanted an extra €30 because the room wasn't ready, which felt like a way to make us come back later. We had wanted breakfast included when booking, but were told that wasn't possible. Then on arrival day, there was no breakfast because we hadn't requested it. We couldn't use the breakfast area either. Instead, they offered to leave a tray outside our door. It felt like they were nostalgic for the COVID era. We'll never stay here again, even though we regularly bring people to the area and are proud to support local businesses. We'll manage without them. Avoid this place.
