Le Domaine de Marculfo

The peaceful countryside location was a real treat, with lovely views over the garden and fields at sunrise and sunset. It’s also centrally placed for Utah Beach, Omaha Beach and Bayeux. We spent two nights at Domaine de Marculfo while visiting Normandy, and the B&B owner was friendly, helpful and very hospitable. She speaks excellent English. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the bathrooms have been modernized, and the beds are SO comfortable. We could gather in the living room, where coffee, tea and delicious cookies were provided. Corinne and her mother made a wonderful breakfast both mornings, especially the homemade yogurt, jams, crepes and pear cake. We’ve stayed in hotels and AirBNBs all over Europe, and this was one of our favorites. Highly recommended!

The rooms have lovely decor, and Corinne gave us a warm welcome along with excellent tips for sightseeing and restaurants. We stayed four nights and had a very pleasant time. The property is peaceful and close to tourist attractions, and the generous breakfasts feature regional products. Everything was perfect. We highly recommend it and will definitely return.

Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade jams and fruitcake, and the peaceful setting made it easy to relax. The guesthouse itself is magnificent, full of charm and tastefully decorated. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The welcome was warm and attentive, with all the thoughtful touches that make a difference. I highly recommend it, and I’ll definitely be back!

Corinne's kindness and hospitality made our four days here perfect. We were really impressed by the beautifully decorated room in this lovely country house. Breakfast was wonderful too, with fruit, cheeses and delicious cake. A place we’d happily return to.
