Isabelle & Christophe were so kind, friendly, and helpful, and breakfast in the garden was lovely. We stayed four nights in July in the smallest room, which was delightful, spotless, and had a comfortable bed and a good shower. The outdoor space was wonderfully relaxing, and the natural, authentic surroundings made the whole stay beautiful. The nearby village of Saint Martin de Brome was beautiful too. We'd definitely come back.
The apartment at Le Clos des Collines was so cozy, with a lovely blend of old and modern touches. My favorite spot was the barbecue area, decorated in a rustic but stylish Provencal style. The garden felt magical from the moment we stepped through the door and found ourselves surrounded by hundreds of white butterflies. Everything has an authentic, family-owned feel, from the rustic garden to the tomatoes, cucumbers, and other vegetables they grow themselves. The big almond tree plantation was beautiful too. We loved our stay at Le Clos des Collines and will definitely return.
There’s so much beauty here, with plenty of great things nearby. It’s a wonderful place to stay, you won’t regret it!
We could easily have stayed longer. Isabelle welcomed us for a few days in her gîte at Clos des Collines, and it was a magnificent place. The food, platters, and drinks you can order were all delicious. Inside, the gîte had superb bedding, air conditioning, and a tasteful renovation. It’s high up in the countryside and peaceful enough to feel rejuvenated, while still close to the iconic sites of the Verdon Gorge. Thanks again for the warm welcome.
The setting is magnificent, surrounded by nature, and mornings are especially soothing with the birds singing. If you want peace and quiet, this is a great place to come. Isabelle and her husband were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is available on-site and was delicious, with Isabelle’s homemade jams in a variety of refined flavors. The accommodation was comfortable and well equipped, with care given to every detail. Parking right outside makes the gîte easy to reach in any car. There are lovely lakes for walks, and Gréoux-les-Bains is less than 15 minutes away by car, with its charming streets. Thanks for the change of scenery and the dinner recommendations.
