The French-style breakfast was simple and well organized, with bread, croissants, and sweet jam. We stayed one night in the 'Mine' room while passing through, and it suited our group of two adults and two teenagers. It’s tucked underground, so the room felt cool and a little dark, which was quite pleasant for a short stay. The location and host were really nice. We cooled off in the pool when we arrived, then relaxed with a local drink provided by the pool bar. There was also a private mini-cinema in a good spot, with proper cinema seats and a big screen, but we decided to turn in early.

Aurelie was kind and helpful, and we enjoyed the mountain view from the refreshing pool. The place sits at the foot of the col de la madeleine and has several themed rooms: a house for two called hans&gretl, a hobbit house, the miner’s house where our group of four slept, and a Harry Potter room. It’s a lovely spot for a stopover or a short stay, and dogs are welcome. Breakfast is French-style, with homemade pancakes served at your house. There’s also a great panoramic view.
