After five hours hiking in pouring rain, we were exhausted and hungry. Fa Tou showed us to our rooms, and Jean-Claude and Fa Tou (I hope I spelled her name right) were gracious hosts. We had a very tasty meal that evening, just the mains: tagliatelle daube and soupe pistou. The beef was so tender and delicious that I asked for a serving of just the meat to have with my soup. The price felt incredibly fair for what we got, and the view was beautiful too. A couple of things to know: the pillows are very hard and thick, and strained my neck, so I slept with clothes under my head instead. The TV can get very loud sometimes, so bring earplugs.

Despite the scars Storm Alex left on Lake Boréon, the surroundings are still magnificent. We got a very warm welcome and an excellent dinner, and our room was comfortable. We highly recommend this establishment.

The manager was attentive and very helpful, and we really enjoyed our two-night stay. The lake view makes a big difference and helps you overlook the minor imperfections. Our room was simple but clean, and breakfast had plenty of food and choice. It's a lovely hotel in a convenient spot for a short visit, and we plan to return for future hikes.

The manager was delightful, and we were able to have dinner as well as breakfast, which seems to be a recent addition. The rooms were spotless and well equipped. It's a quiet, lovely hotel with a stunning lake view. Thanks again for the hospitality, we'll be back.
