We found the owners really helpful and friendly, and the place itself was lovely and well cared for. It’s quiet, with beautiful walks and bike routes close by. For supplies, the bakers are about a 10-minute drive, and the large Intermarche in Remerimont is roughly the same distance. On hot days we headed to Lac de Moselette. Look up Aquafly, it’s a lovely spot under the trees with lifeguards and good coffee. From the photos and stories, winter looks beautiful there too, so it seems like a great choice in summer or winter.

There are lots of enjoyable day trips close by, and the wooden cottage has all the amenities provided. It’s lovely, though it felt a little too Christmasy and wintry for a summer stay. Seems like an ideal spot in winter.
