For the price, it’s fine. The outside of the building looks quite stained, but inside it’s reasonably well maintained and clean. One thing to know for the drive: Aire du pouce off the N57, along with its former service station, is gone, and the exit has been closed. My satnav hadn’t caught up, but Google maps had. Coming from the south near Bombrice or from the north near Les Barres, take the D157 exit. It’s only a couple more minutes from there.

The staff were welcoming and understood when we asked to change rooms because our neighbors were noisy. The rooms aren’t very well insulated. They’re tiny, though at least they were dust-free. The shared restrooms were okay, but there’s no toilet seat cover, which is a nightmare if you’re germophobic 🫨. Breakfast is very basic: toast with jam and butter, boxed juice, and a coffee machine. I’d recommend the place if you’re on a tight budget and just need an acceptable place to sleep.

I was happy with what I got for the price, with no bad surprises, and it was clean. The room is small, with shared showers and toilets, as you’d expect for a 25 euro room. The reception staff were really nice and helpful. My one complaint is the road noise. The windows should be replaced with quieter ones.

It’s a very cheap place to sleep, exactly as advertised for a budget hotel. Each clean room has a double bed, a bunk bed, and a small sink for freshening up. The toilets and showers are along the hallway. Breakfast is a very inexpensive 3.5€ for all you can eat. They have baguette, bread, butter, marmalade, honey, hazelnut spread, cornflakes, coffee, tea, and milk. Almost everything is automated, and when you do need the staff, they’re friendly and helpful.

The toilets and showers are down the hallway, but they’re clean, and for the price that’s fine. I’ve stayed here three times, and the room has been clean every time. Breakfast has also been very good each visit and good value. No downsides for me!
