Bastide les 3 Portes

Sophie and Morgan went out of their way to look after us and seemed to have thought of everything. Even the bathroom had thoughtful regional touches, including parfums, lotions, and bath gels. The breakfasts were generous and delicious, the grounds and views gorgeous, and the interior design felt professional and inspired. We had both real privacy and a peaceful stay, along with the warmth of local hospitality. It felt like being welcomed into the hosts’ lovely estate. This place deserves more than five stars, and we’d love to return.

The breakfasts spoiled us: the food was excellent, there was plenty to choose from, and each day brought a delicious homemade surprise. The rooms were carefully decorated, the grounds were spectacular, and the setting felt peaceful and safe. This was a perfect hidden gem for getting around the south of France. Our whole family loved staying here in August 2024, and Sophie, Morgan, and Sandrine made the experience one of our most cherished trips to France. We’ll always treasure the memories and hope to visit again. Thank you for your generosity, kindness, and for making our stay so memorable. We miss being there with you already. Sophie and Morgan are such warm, joyful, and charming hosts. They pointed us toward fabulous local places, booked restaurants for us each night, and knew all the best hidden spots. So many picturesque little towns, including Saint Paul de Vence, are less than a ten-minute drive away. The rooms are smartly designed, the beds wonderfully comfortable, and the pool is perfect, with views straight out of a movie. Breakfast is usually served on the terrace overlooking the pool and Provence countryside, and the fresh, locally sourced food tastes incredible. We can’t wait to return to Bastide les 3 Portes.

You’ll want a car to get around, preferably a small one. In return, you get a spectacular location, beautiful rooms, a magnificent garden, and a welcoming pool. Sophie was a charming, helpful hostess, always ready to help. This is THE place to stay near St Paul de Vence.
