Resid’artel Cadarache – ITER

I had a wonderful stay at Résid'Artel. I was there for three nights while attending a two-day workshop at Cadarache, and the location was handy, about a 15-minute walk from the main entrance. It’s an apartment-style hotel, and my studio had everything I needed: a TV, air conditioning, utensils, towels, microwave, boiler, and refrigerator. The room was clean, and the staff were cheerful, very nice, and always ready to help. There’s also a pool, an outdoor restaurant, and a small gym with a few machines. I had a really great time.

The shuttle to ITER was a lifesaver, since public transport around there is limited. My stay at Résid'Artel Val de Durance while visiting ITER was a great experience. The staff were very polite and looked after everything from check-in through check-out. My room was spacious, clean, well equipped, and had air conditioning, so it was comfortable. There’s a pool and fitness center too, which makes the hotel suitable for longer stays. The surroundings are quiet and close to nature, with a relaxing feel. I highly recommend it for visits to ITER or Cadarache.

The surroundings are quiet, even though the hotel is next to an industrial area, and the pool is nice. Check-in support was quick and efficient, with a very kind receptionist. The room was clean and equipped, though there’s no dishwasher.

There are quite a few cats around, and there’s a cozy restaurant just a minute’s walk away. Without it, there wouldn’t be much entertainment nearby. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and was a little hard to find, though there are a few signs. It’s apartment-style, and for late arrivals there’s a key machine to collect your key.
