Côte Cannelle

Our bungalow was clean and everything was nice. The owner is adorable, and the place is quiet and relaxing. The service was excellent, so I’d recommend it to anyone looking to unwind.

We visited on February 28, 2026, and chose the relaxation day package for two, which cost €180. That seemed like a fair price for the professional staff. The pool and jacuzzi were enjoyable, and both were very large, though the facilities could use some updating, especially the aquarium. The 20 minute massage was incredible. The masseuses helped us feel at ease and made the atmosphere relaxing. I personally found the hammam a little unnerving, but it was still a good experience. Brunch was good and acceptable, although some side dishes seemed to be from the morning. With the establishment’s name, we’d expected a little more cinnamon. At first the place felt quite dated, even though the concept was there. The welcoming staff won us over despite the decor. We had some minor disappointments, but mostly positive experiences. The kitchen team, receptionists, and massage therapists made our time there very pleasant.

The staff were lovely, but the owner felt distant to us. For a bed and breakfast, we expected the host to be more involved with guests. It came across more like a soulless hotel, and the price felt far too high for what we got. We stayed four nights at Côté Cannelle. On arrival, we thought the place looked lovely, but the stay was disappointing. The room didn’t seem properly cleaned. There were still hearts on the floor under the bed and in the shower, probably left from Valentine’s Day the day before. The tea and coffee tablecloth was dirty, and the papers on it were stained. A drawer couldn’t be used because its board was on the floor and you could put your hand through it. The terrace was badly damaged and seemed dangerous, with exposed wood. The patio door wouldn’t lock. We didn’t have anything especially valuable with us, but it was still worrying. The owner said the door would be fixed. When we returned from our outing, an employee tried to repair it but couldn’t. From the window we looked out onto garbage containers, and the sound of bottles being emptied right next to the window was unpleasant. There was no air conditioning, just a fan, and a strong musty smell in the room. At the pool, part of the waterline was detached and the water had an uninviting, questionable color. It’s a shame, because the place seems like it must have been beautiful once.
