Villa Laurina

Bali, their gentle, playful dog, would come greet us at the gate, by the car, or out in the yard. The guest house has a lovely view over the coast, and we really enjoyed being there. The owner was kind and helpful, and checked in every day to ask how we'd spent our time and what we'd explored.

Of all the places we stayed on La Réunion, this was easily our favorite overall. The owner gave us such a warm, personal welcome. We also loved the tasty food, cozy rooms, and thoughtful decor. With the lovely coastal view and familiar atmosphere, it's a great spot for a few peaceful days.

We came away with a very positive impression of this charming place in the hills. The view is splendid, the hosts are lovely, and the value for money is excellent. Breakfast was the one small disappointment: we'd have liked more choice, perhaps pastries, some savory items, and a little more fruit. We'd have been happy to pay a bit extra for that.

Our room at Villa Laurina was spotless and had a comfortable bed. The peaceful surroundings and breathtaking view made it a relaxing place to stay. Our host was welcoming, attentive, and available, and dinner was delicious. We also really appreciated being able to have breakfast very early. Many thanks, we'd recommend it without hesitation.
