We left the hotel and requested a refund after finding fleas in the room. The host came in, saw them herself, but denied there was a problem and asked what she was supposed to do, saying previous guests hadn't complained. She even suggested we were being too picky. We counted at least 10 fleas on the bedsheets and floor as soon as we entered, and I'm sure there were more. Later, the lady emailed us denying everything and charged us for one night. Her response was very unpleasant and unfriendly. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We loved the calm of Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle and its ideal location for exploring the region. This charming little hotel in the Basque Country had a warm atmosphere and impeccable service. We'd gladly recommend it and will probably return. Thanks again, and safe travels!

The hotel has a pool, parking, and shared spaces, which were great extras. It's not exactly new, but the welcome was much warmer than at plenty of newer hotels. We had a wonderful stay, got excellent advice, and felt very warmly received. I'd happily come back, and highly recommend it.

Laura was such a lovely, pleasant, and helpful person. It's a shame there's no star rating for her. We stopped here on both the outward and return legs of our trip, and it worked really well. The location is good, with lots of places to eat, and Saint-Jean-de-Luz is only 20 minutes away. The price is more than fair, especially with a pool and a garden that has cooking facilities. The rooms are basic but do the job: comfortable bedding and spotless cleanliness were what mattered most to us.
