le relais de la lande

We ate there with friends on two evenings during week 47 while staying nearby for a short time. The menu had plenty of varied, generous dishes, and we really enjoyed both meals without spending much. The place was clean, and the welcome was simple and friendly. I highly recommend it.

We stopped for a quick bite in the huge, empty parking lot in November, not noticing the “Private” sign. A furious woman then demanded 10 euros or told us to leave immediately. She seemed to hate motorhome owners, saying we don't support local businesses and should stay home. My husband tried to explain that her reaction was pointless, but she got vulgar too. Some diplomacy from a so-called shopkeeper. Completely hysterical!

The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, just right for me. I like a restaurant that serves good quality and generous portions and gives you a warm welcome. A world away from those roadside bus station factories.

The room stinks, the bedding isn't clean, there are bugs everywhere, and I found hair on the sheets 😡😡. The manager is extremely unpleasant, so I'm giving one star because I can't give less. Avoid it at all costs, and don't go unless you're ready to burn through your money. If you don't believe me, find out for yourself. Madam, you're truly awful, shame on you. Yes, as your reply so aptly says, GOODBYE FOREVER, that's for sure! Change careers or learn some customer service.
