The hosts make you feel so welcome, and the breakfast has homemade things they’ve prepared themselves. The rooms are lovely, nicely furnished, and very clean.

We’d happily come back to L'Orée des Vignes. Our room in the restored farmhouse was comfortable and full of charm, and Chantal and Fabrice were wonderful hosts during our first night exploring the Loire and northern Bourgogne. Next door, Domain Court is a small family vineyard run across five generations. We really enjoyed the wine tasting there, and the wine was exceptional.

The breakfast was lovely, with several kinds of jam and homemade yogurt. We only stayed one night while traveling, but I’d come back when I’m in the region. Chantal and Fabrice were so welcoming, and the room’s old-style furniture suited the stone house perfectly. I definitely recommend this Chambres d'Hôtes.

The internet connection was the one issue, though that seems to be the ISP’s fault. The house is comfortable and surrounded by nature, with quiet days and nights that are pitch black. It feels almost completely cut off from civilization. The tenants are nice, easy to talk to, and also cook fantastic meals.
