La Villa des Forges

The estate is magnificent, and our dream wedding went beautifully. There are lots of bedrooms, play areas, and a magical reception hall, with all the equipment needed. The setting is peaceful and superb. The owners were very friendly, despite a small misunderstanding about the stage, and everything went smoothly. A huge thank you. Don't hesitate to book this fantastic place for a wedding!

The owners were very attentive, and the venue itself is superb. We rented Villa des Forges for our wedding in September 2025. Thank you for letting us celebrate our wedding there.

We were recently guests at a lovely wedding, and the venue itself is beautiful. But the owners, especially the gentleman, were extremely unfriendly and quite disrespectful to guests. The kitchen area was infested with flies, and the electrical power was insufficient. These problems should be addressed.

The lodges were full of spiders, and the sheets were completely unpresentable. They were supposedly cleaned each morning, but given the thick canvas, I doubt it. The lighting was nonexistent, the women's restrooms smelled awful, and for €100 a night you'd expect a spotless lodge. The venue itself is lovely, with a secluded location, hall, terrace, and grounds that are all fine. The owners were completely disrespectful. More than once, they barged into the wedding reception and grabbed the DJ, caterer, family, and friends in a rude, inappropriate, brutal way. At a wedding with hundreds of people, the music should have stopped at 10:00 PM, or 10:30 PM if the hall doors were open. One owner also shut the kitchen shower in the middle of the night while the caterer was still there and couldn't shower. The next day, an owner spied from behind the hedge and messaged one of the brides, “Time is approaching.” Seriously, Madam/Sir, change professions and let the professionals handle this. Stop harassing people at joyful, festive, family gatherings. A four-star venue with zero-star owners. Absolutely terrible.
