Appalling treatment. We were passing through Saint Pierre d'Albigny and asked to use the toilets without buying anything. The person who needed one was disabled and couldn’t hold it. When I explained that it wasn’t for me, the manager laughed in my face, glanced at her phone, and said she understood but that the toilets were for customers. I’ll leave you to imagine what happened next. It’s shameful, and this kind of behavior shouldn’t happen. I hope she never needs help herself and faces the same sort of response.

I stopped in for coffee and ended up paying €2 rather than €1.20 because I used the restroom. It was very dirty, too. The person serving me then ushered me out because she was closing at 1:20 PM. Before she shut the bar, I asked if I could use the restroom once more, but she said I’d already been and would have to pay again. Unacceptable. Good luck making money by charging €2 for the restroom.

Very clean, with a vintage feel, and the welcome was lovely. The owner is genuinely kind and welcoming, and I’m grateful for the hospitality. Someone said I’d already written a review, but that wasn’t me. The real Alexandra is me with my family. If I get the chance to stay here again, I’ll be the first to recommend it.

It’s clean and straightforward, and seems to have been renovated recently, though it still feels a little dated. It does what you need. The owner is very nice, attentive without hovering.
