Ile de Lumiere

The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in, and the bay view from our bright, airy, spotless room was lovely and quiet. The bathroom was large and well laid out, with a big shower. The gardens are beautiful, with a nice balance of cared-for and natural planting, and the pool area looked great, though the weather kept us from swimming. Getting onto the beach is a little difficult as things stand, so better access would help. Still, the location is a winner: an easy stroll to the harbour, shops, and restaurants. We'll definitely return.

We only stayed two nights, but everything at the hotel was good. The pool looked inviting, though it was too cold to use since it isn't heated. The beach is just a few metres away, and the harbour and restaurants are about a 15-minute walk.

The room, number 31, was just the right size for a few nights, clean and modern, with decor that suited the area. We got a friendly welcome, excellent service, and great help from the staff, who suggested Le Local for dinner in town. Breakfast had a very good selection too. If you get the chance, catch a sublime sunset on the beach. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The pool was lovely, pleasant to use, and beautifully designed and maintained. The hotel's attractive design gives it a cozy, personal feel, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast had a sufficient, appealing selection for us. The location is tiptop. We can only recommend it.
