For €95 a night, we expected more. There was no breakfast or dinner included, and not even cutlery for eating our own food. Compared with other places we stayed on the previous nights, this felt highly overpriced. We don't think the current average four-star rating is deserved, and wonder if it may rely on old reviews. The room looked acceptable at first, but it wasn't very clean and seemed not to have been renovated for a long time. Ants were all over the bathroom. We killed several mosquitoes in the bedroom, but only after they had bitten us repeatedly, and later found a large spider in there as well. Those unwelcome visitors made it hard to sleep. We knew the property was near the highway, but hadn't realized how much noise we'd hear through the night. Other reviews may set you up to expect a pleasant stay, but ours was very restless.

We enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners, and the rooms were clean and well equipped. The welcome was warm, too. There's a small private parking area, and the lovely Grande Anse beach is 7 km away.

Nathalie and Jean-Luc are wonderful hosts, and the welcome was so warm. The room was spacious and spotless, and the sea is close by. The food was excellent, with local ingredients even at breakfast. I stayed in four places around the island, and this one was my favorite. Don't miss it.

A generous breakfast and a very welcoming owner made the stay especially pleasant. The place is quiet and great for relaxing. My room and bathroom were both spacious and clean, and the air conditioning and ventilation worked well. Highly recommend it.
