We had trouble distinguishing Le Longane from Le Camphrier and only found the place in the Ravine-des-Cabris district of St.-Pierre with Google Maps. It’s a beautifully kept Creole house with four guest rooms, including one family unit. Our room was practical and nicely furnished, and the bathroom was especially attractive and spotless. There was a little private terrace with a wonderful mountain view. Patricia, the owner, gave us a warm welcome and cooked us a delicious dinner. In the morning we had a typical French breakfast on the terrace, looking across the valley to the sea. That view was unforgettable. Great value for money, and highly recommended.

Everything was spotless, the fruit was very good, and the owner was so friendly. We had a lovely, relaxing stay and were warmly welcomed. Thank you, nothing to complain about.

Peaceful, clean, and beautiful, whether you call it Longan or Camphor Tree.
