The view from our panoramic room, room 2, was lovely, almost like a lookout point. The pool was nice, breakfast was good, and the price felt very fair for what we got. Everyone was friendly. I'd recommend it and come back.

At roughly 350 meters above sea level, the hotel has magnificent views over the south coast and St. Pierre, and it's a welcome break from the heat. It's peaceful here, and the rooms are very comfortable, clean, and well kept. This was my second stay, and I'd come back without a second thought. I'd happily recommend it to friends.

The terrace and pool overlook the city and sea, with a breathtaking view that’s especially lovely at sunset. The pool itself is a great place to relax, and breakfast is a treat, with banana bread, homemade jams, and pancakes. Our room was charming, practical, clean, and just as described. The location is quiet and easy to reach by car, with secure parking in the hotel courtyard. The owners made the stay especially nice: welcoming, helpful, and attentive without hovering, and they made us feel at ease. We had a wonderful time at Hôtel Le Soleil Couchant and would be delighted to stay there again if we return to Reunion Island.
