Lodge Palmae

Paule and Patrick made us feel at home, and their personal tips really added to our trip. We had breakfast by the pool each morning, beautifully laid out with lovely pastries, eggs cooked just how we liked them, and the best fruit we've ever tasted. Lodge Palmae has a peaceful setting, and the resident cats made it feel even homier. We had an unforgettable stay on Réunion Island and can't wait to come back to this little piece of paradise. We had a great time at your B&B. The garden is lovely, and our Lodge had a private jacuzzi. Paule and Patrick were wonderful hosts and helped us plan our days. Breakfast was fantastic, the best we had on our whole trip.

We felt right at home among the trees and enjoyed the birdsong and nature. Paule and Patrick gave us helpful suggestions for hikes and restaurants, and even packed lunches for our walk to Piton de la Fournaise. Their warm welcome included a drink, followed by a lovely breakfast the next morning. We especially liked the matakia, homemade fruit salad and omelettes, along with the tasty jams and Elodie's beurre salé. There are three little bungalows, each with its own Jacuzzi, tucked into a beautiful stand of old palm trees. Merci Paule et Patrick et à bientôt. Birgit and Frank.

The gardens are beautiful, and the owner, who runs the lodge, was super friendly and helpful with places to eat. After a hike, the jacuzzi was just what we needed. Highly recommended.
