The pool table was another issue. It has to be switched off by 10:30 PM because the neighbor asks you to stop, so the room really needs to be redesigned. At nearly €800 for the weekend, you’d expect to be able to enjoy it. Parking was also a problem: there are only two proper spaces, and otherwise you have to share the driveway with the neighbor. The villa itself is beautiful, modern and well equipped, but staying there in summer was unbearable. St. Pierre was very hot, and insects were everywhere, from the bedrooms and kitchen to the outdoor areas. Nobody slept well, since the fan just moved the hot air around. It really needs air conditioning. All in all, it wasn’t a great weekend.

The hostess was very helpful, and the house is nicely ventilated despite having no air conditioning. It’s a pretty place in the hills above St. Pierre, with a lovely outdoor area and BBQ. There’s a heated pool, though we didn’t need it.

We were a group of friends, and the house worked really well for us. The outdoor area was lovely, and we made great use of the pool. It’s a superb house, with complete, brand new furnishings, and we got a very warm welcome.

There’s plenty of parking, and shops are nearby. We got a very warm welcome and some helpful advice. The house itself is beautiful, with a pergola and garden furniture. Highly recommended.
