The meal was a real highlight, four courses and outstanding. Even the chef made our nervous dog a steak at a very reasonable price, and let him join us in the restaurant. The young couple running the hotel made everything easy and were happy to help with anything. We were travelling from Spain to the UK, and its spot just off the motorway was handy without any traffic noise. The little village is charming, and our room was clean and comfortable, with a fantastic bed and everything working well. The en suite bathroom was lovely too. Definitely a great choice. Thanks!

A quiet, secluded spot, though still conveniently close to the motorway. The room was comfortable, the staff friendly, and the food was so good it would be worth coming just to eat here. Such a wonderful find.

We’ve been stopping here on our way through for years. It’s peaceful even with the motorway nearby, and especially well suited to people travelling with dogs. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, the welcome is warm, and the food is excellent. All that, at such low prices. Hard to beat.

We ran out of petrol, and the lovely people there took good care of us.
