La Maison Bourgeoise

This was probably the biggest surprise of our 6000 km Europe tour. We only stayed one night, unfortunately, but it was such a unique and amazing experience. The owners were so kind and hospitable. Don't expect a “village in the heart of France”, this is the absolute opposite. I won't spoil the lovely local places Pamela can introduce you to. And if you're thinking, “naah, it's the middle of nowhere, no English, no nothing,” you're wrong. Native English people will take care of you. If you're vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, milk-free, or anything-free, just call before you arrive. The rooms were extremely clean too.

Some of our favorite things were Pam's fresh, delicious dinners every night, the spotless rooms that made coming back feel easy, and the homemade yogurt and farm-fresh eggs at breakfast. We also loved hearing Pam and Mick's stories and chatting with them. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and homey. This BnB exceeded our expectations and truly felt like a home away from home. We'll definitely be back!

The food was excellent, freshly cooked, and made us feel at home. We stayed for 3 nights and couldn't fault Pam and Mick as hosts.

Pam is exceptionally kind and attentive to her guests without being intrusive. The evening meal, available by reservation, is all homemade and worthy of a very good restaurant. It's excellent value for money. The house is beautifully decorated, and the room has lovely decor and a very comfortable bed. Don't hesitate to stay, and you'll also be able to improve your English.
