The bakery is just a minute away, which made it easy to pick up sandwiches in the morning. I found the stay good value, and the food was tasty and made with local products. The host was so welcoming and still took time to chat, even though he was handling the hosting and cooking by himself. I was there outside peak season. Thanks for everything.

The rooms were clean and pleasant, but the meals felt too basic for what they cost. Dinner was sausage with potatoes, and breakfast was baguette, jam, and cereal. I wouldn't tell anyone to avoid staying here, though I wouldn't choose the meal service again.

We left at 8 in the morning, glad to be out of there. For what we paid, it felt like a total rip-off, and there are better places in town. Breakfast was practically nonexistent, and dinner was awful, a real insult to French gastronomy. The rooms were terrible too: cheap IKEA furniture, stained mattresses that squeaked, and no soap in the bathroom. The place felt unloved. The host didn't welcome us, just started laying down rules straight away: shoes off, no suitcases on the beds, dinner at 7, and so on.

Dinner was tasty, and sitting at shared tables gave us a chance to meet and talk with other hikers and pilgrims. It was very reasonably priced, with wine available to buy with the meal. Our room was small and had twin beds, but it had everything we needed. The Gite was clean and lovely in this quaint old village. The young man who greeted us was very helpful, and his English was much better than our French. He even tried to help me track down my lost luggage. There's a boot cabinet by the entrance to dry wet boots. Highly recommend.

The garden is really pretty, and the food was good. The rooms are simple but very clean, which made this a great stop on the Camino hike. If you don't need luxury, I'd definitely recommend it.
