The chef even came out to visit the tables, and the service was friendly and helpful throughout. We had a lovely dinner, with good local house wines too. The menu was fairly short, which makes sense in the off-season, but there was still a nice range: tomato and fresh mozzarella salad, duck foie gras, or beef carpaccio to start; then fish, beef raised locally about 10 miles from the restaurant, or duck, with beans or roasted potatoes. For dessert, we chose between cheeses and homemade Pavlova with blackberries and raspberries. There was also a rich, creamy pudding, homemade ice cream, and assorted pastries, all great with a strong black coffee. A wonderful meal, and we'd highly recommend stopping in.

We've lost count of how many times we've been here. It's been amazing every single time, and the food is gorgeous!

We chose this restaurant for dinner on the first evening of our holiday after reading the reviews, and it lived up to them. The dishes were beautifully presented, with refined flavors, and the food was excellent. We also received a lovely welcome. The young couple running the place clearly care a lot about their work.
