Le 21 Hotel

The small balcony looked out over a nice city view, and the room was very clean. Le 21 Hotel was a great base for my first solo trip to the South of France. It’s about a five-minute walk from the train station, with several beaches and coves nearby. I’d recommend it if you want an area with few tourists while still being close to some of the larger cities around here.

Hotel 21 has a great location in the heart of St. Raphael, within an easy stroll of the beaches, shops, and restaurants. The room had tasteful decor and a modern feel, and was a quiet place to rest after a day by the sea. Breakfast was a nice continental spread of fresh pastries, fruit, and drinks, a good start before exploring the cote d'azur. The staff made a strong impression too. They were warm and attentive, offering local tips and helping with whatever we needed. My stay was brilliant. Between the location, stylish room, enjoyable breakfast, and caring service, it exceeded my expectations. It’s a basic but brilliant way to experience St. Raphael, and I’d recommend it without hesitation.

A good night's sleep was helped by the comfortable, firm bed and double-glazed windows. The room rate was very competitive, and breakfast was perfectly adequate, served in a pleasant and comfortable dining area. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was small, but it and the bathroom had been renovated to a very high standard and were impeccably clean. The hotel is handy for the rail and bus stations, beach, and shops. We couldn’t fault it and recommend staying here, though it’s best to book ahead!

We spent two nights here while waiting for our cars to arrive on the Auto train. We weren’t after luxury, but the clean, modern rooms with tasteful decor were a pleasant surprise. It’s right in the centre of town, across from the train station. The receptionist spoke very good English and was a great help. We’d definitely stay again if we’re back in the area.
