The photos are misleading, and I felt this place was a huge scam. It was very dangerous for families with children, and the staff were extremely unpleasant. These cottages should be closed and not rented for €1300 a week. Avoid it at all costs.

The beds were made and the sheets were clean, but the room itself was a real disappointment for what I paid for one night. The floor hadn't been swept, there was hair in the toilet, and dust was visible. The safe was in poor condition, and the air conditioning didn't work at all. There was only a fan, and it was at the end of its life. The reception was very basic. Even the tourist tax was more than the confirmation email said, €3.40 instead of €1.76. From the outside, the place looks pretty, and the pool is clean and well maintained.

The hotel has a nice pool and outdoor seating, and it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. Staff were friendly and made an effort with entertainment, but they spoke very little English. For meals, the only drinks available were water or wine at extra cost. Even after I asked, I couldn't get a glass of orange juice. The place feels about 30 years behind current standards, more like a youth hostel than a hotel, and seems suited only to short stays. It isn't as "disgusting" as some reviews suggest, but comfort and hygiene do involve real compromises. Some rooms had only two of their four lamps working, and there were dead insects on the dining room windows. A basic, thorough cleaning is badly needed. If you're on a budget and don't expect luxury, it may be adequate.

The room was clean, with a great view from the window. The staff were kind and polite, though there was no Wi-Fi in the room.

It's quiet and well located, and the staff are very dedicated. But the establishment is basic. The pool shown in the photos is closed every Saturday until 2 pm so the vacuum cleaner and cleaning product can do their work. Everyone wants to swim, so why not clean it in the evening? Another surprise: there are no TVs in the rooms. You can go down to reception to watch your favorite program.
