There’s an excellent restaurant just 100 meters away, and this is a lovely B&B with a really warm welcome from the friendly host. Breakfast was nice too. We’re in a region with some of France’s best wines, and we’ll certainly come back.

We picked this place for the peace and quiet, and it delivered. The town itself is very quiet, with not much going on, while nearby Mersault was just right for meals out and wine tasting. It was handy to have a kitchen, and the hosts were warm and helpful. They even helped us when we had car trouble as we were leaving. We’d stay again.

We loved our stay and would happily come back. The room and shared spaces were spotless and comfortable, and Stephanie went out of her way to make things feel perfect. Breakfast came with fresh croissants, baguette, and a continental selection. If you’re visiting Bourgogne, this is a lovely place to stay.

Saint Romain is a small town away from the tourist bustle of other Bourgogne towns, with a nice restaurant close by. The B&B has a classic feel and a relaxed atmosphere, the rooms are good quality, and Stephanie is friendly. My only note is that breakfast could have included whole grains or cereal.
