Le Mas Perréal

After spending ten days here, we were glad we chose the quiet countryside over a small village. At night it was peaceful, with stars overhead and only the crickets breaking the silence. We often walked into town for dinner after a late afternoon by the pool with a glass of wine, then enjoyed the stroll back to work off the meal. The location made exploring easy. We covered a lot of the region and rarely had to drive more than half an hour. We were here for a wedding next door at a very expensive hotel, and several of its guests came to see us. They all said they would rather stay at Mas Perreal next year. Our room was spacious and spotless, with that rustic French Mas style and a touch of opulence. The bathroom had both a separate tub and a large walk-in shower, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable with crisp linen. The garden and pool were lovely places to unwind. And the homemade breakfasts were elaborate and filling enough to last us until dinner. Kevin and Elisabeth were truly wonderful hosts. Thank you both.
