We've never been treated so badly. The welcome was awful, and the owner was unpleasant. We can't understand how this place is still listed. At 90 euros a night, people shouldn't be treated like dogs, though even the dogs seemed to get better treatment than we did. Avoid it at all costs.

The owners were friendly, and the building is unusual and has an interesting history. The room's comfort let it down, though. The shower had no hose or showerhead, making it difficult to wash, and there was only a plastic toothbrush holder and no shower gel. The price is still reasonable, and these seem like fixable issues.

The room was dusty and had hair left by previous occupants. The toilet seat was broken, something the owner clearly knew about but hadn't fixed, and the curtain rod fell on my head. The owners seemed completely indifferent. The rooms are also on a fairly busy road. The welcome was cold and bossy, and the room was as disappointing as the reception. Thanks to the baker, whose delicious baguette improved the very light breakfast, which otherwise consisted of two kiwi slices.

We left without breakfast after a German Shepherd blocked the breakfast room door, jumped on us and licked our bowls. The room was dirty, with clumps of hair, a filthy carpet and cobwebs in every corner of the bathroom. There was no shower head, and the toilet seat was broken. A cobblestone road below the room made it noisy. The welcome was appalling, with comments about everything. Definitely avoid this place.

The building is beautiful, the decor lovely and the location very good. But the Aqua room was poor value for money. The bed was hard as a plank, and the bathroom needs a lot of work, including a showerhead, a fixed toilet bowl and hygiene products. Breakfast was very ordinary: bread, butter, jam and three apple slices.
