The restaurant meal was one of our best in France this year. Every course was cooked just as we asked and presented beautifully, and the desserts were incredible. The rooms are tastefully decorated and well equipped, with very comfortable beds and a handy socket right beside the bed. The bathrooms were spotless and thoughtfully arranged, too. The owners clearly put a lot of work into looking after travelers, even hand-ironing all the linen. A great mix of quality and value, and I’d recommend it.

There’s no vegetarian choice listed, though it might be possible to ask for a veggie meal. The food is clearly prepared by a chef, not reheated from frozen, and it’s good. The restaurant offers a plat du jour as well as a blackboard menu with several choices for starters, mains, and desserts. Sometimes the plat du jour isn’t explained very fully when you ask, and further details aren’t always available.

We keep coming back to the plat du jour. It’s lovely food for a very fair price, and it never disappoints.

The restaurant menu and food were excellent, and we had a warm welcome. Our room was big, clean, and comfortable. Highly recommend.
