The location worked well as a base for visiting St Emilion and Bergerac, with lots of vineyards nearby. We spent two nights here over Easter and two in Bordeaux. Nell was kind and helpful, and there were nice touches like proper coffee and flowers in the bedrooms. Plenty of piping hot water, too. The kids stayed in the pool for ages. It isn’t heated, but once you’re in, it’s fine. Google Maps and Apple Maps find the place easily, though it hasn’t appeared on sat nav yet.

We stayed for two nights in this peaceful spot by the Dordogne River and really enjoyed the quiet. Restaurants are an easy walk away. Nell gave us useful advice and excellent service. I’d definitely recommend it.

I booked a room through Booking.com for one night, under a non-refundable policy. The hotel then told me it was full, but €120 was still charged. Booking.com hasn't responded to my refund requests, and I can't get in touch with them. I want to report what I see as a scam and a lack of vigilance from the hotel.

We stayed in August. Booking through Booking.com was a bit difficult, but it turned out to be Booking.com's fault. There’s no scam here at all. Nel is very helpful, and the place is ideal if you want to unwind. Breakfast is simple but adequate.
