The room was comfortable and clean, which made this a good place to stop for the night. The hotel does feel a little dated and could use some maintenance. I didn't eat at the restaurant, but the €9 breakfast had a good selection and was very good.

The owner and staff were so welcoming and attentive, and the prices felt very reasonable. I especially loved the desserts, particularly the crepes with praline ice cream and whipped cream. The Italian food was excellent, and the hotel itself was impeccable and really beautiful. Highly recommend it. Jean Philippe LILET

I only ate at the restaurant, and that weekday lunch set menu for €14 was a real find. The food was refined, generous, original, and completely homemade. It's worth going 30, even 50 km out of your way for. I was just passing through and hope I can return as often as possible. I'm surprised it isn't packed 😕

The view was splendid, and the welcome was outstanding. My room was huge and quiet, with an incredible bathroom that had both a shower and a bathtub. The owners and staff were top-notch. During Covid, they brought a delicious homemade meal tray to the room, with unlimited coffee and breakfast too. A rare find, highly recommended, and unbeatable value for money.

The owners were kind and patient, and our room at the back of the hotel was very quiet, with a really comfortable bed. We came after choosing this hotel-restaurant near Autun, a city I wanted to visit, using a Smartbox gift voucher. Dinner on the evening we arrived was a delicious, delightful discovery. I highly recommend the place.
