We were six cyclists, and Marie and Philippe looked after us so warmly. After wine in their beautiful garden, we had a delicious dinner cooked by Philippe, then plenty of space to play board games. The bedroom was fabulous, with a comfortable mattress and a lovely paint effect on the ceiling. Breakfast was great too. Thanks so much for taking such good care of us.

Marie Edith and Philippe made sure our two children, both under two, had everything they needed. Their place is close to the main road without adding much time to the journey, yet the beautiful garden is a peaceful place to unwind. The Table d'Hôte was fabulous, with delicious home-grown, home-cooked food and excellent local wine; breakfast brought more homemade treats. Our rooms were very comfortable, and the property has been beautifully restored. It could be a great base for exploring the Route Verte up to Royan. We stopped here on our way further south and were grateful for their hospitality. Next time, maybe... Thank you from Louisa & Will et les petits.

A lovely guesthouse in the Cognac area, and handy for visiting Bordeaux too. The owners were attentive, helpful and caring. We loved our stay, and it was great value for money.

We were welcomed warmly even though we arrived by bike. It’s a great place to stop over, with a very large room, a lovely view and a superb garden, all tucked among lush greenery. So peaceful.
