We came for a wedding, and it was beautiful. The setting is idyllic, with gorgeous views and that authentic French countryside feel. The rooms don’t have air conditioning, but nights were quite cool. Getting around was the hard part. There aren’t any shops close by, and it’s a very long walk to the centre. Taxis can be expensive and don’t always come early, while Google Maps sent us to a stream on one try and a dead end on another. You may need to improvise, and I’m not good with directions. Food choices were a bit limited for visitors who don’t speak French.

We were lucky to have lovely weather for the wedding events spread over two days. The grounds are beautiful, and there are plenty of outdoor setup options. The event centre can accommodate about 100 guests. The accommodation was decent, with basic amenities. There was no air conditioning, but even during hot summer days the evenings were mild and we slept comfortably.

The grounds are fantastic for a wedding in the countryside, and the facilities feel up to date. They still have that old-world Brittany elegance, which makes the place especially picturesque.

Raphaëlle was professional and quick to respond throughout the planning, and we felt in good hands from our first conversations a year ago. We’ve just celebrated our wedding at Domaine des Longrais and are absolutely delighted. Our loved ones had so many nice things to say about it.
