Villa Playa del Sol - B1e1

We stayed for two nights, and the first night was a complete disaster. A family next door had a baby crying all night, while the mother talked loudly on the phone. The walls were so poorly soundproofed that it felt like they were in our room. The bed, sheets, and pillows also felt extremely damp all night, which was unpleasant and seemed unhygienic. The building is right on the main road, and the heavy traffic was clearly audible in our room even at night. The pool water was very cold, and the pool area had cheap plastic loungers with no mats or parasols. The beach in front is more of a natural beach and has that kind of feel. On arrival, we had to ask other guests where reception was because there were no signs. At check-in we were offered excursions, but no welcome drink, and the whole experience felt impersonal. We didn’t see the man again after that. Breakfast costs an extra €15, and you have to say exactly what you want on the first day. It would then be served at 9 a.m., much too late for us. The bathroom had only a small bar of soap and six tiny shampoo sachets, which smelled strongly of soap. There was only a limited supply of hot water because of the small boiler. We even had to turn on the hot water tap downstairs when nothing came out of the sink. The minibar had two or three drinks, all at extra cost, of course. At €300 a night, it was far too expensive for us, and we can’t recommend it.

A wonderful villa with a pool 😍, right across from the beach and just a short walk from the center. It’s ideal for a family wanting an unforgettable vacation. The staff were very kind and attentive to my needs while I was there with my children. The rooms were tidy and clean. I’ll definitely come back ❤️

The seaside setting is stunning, and it’s close to the center of Saint Tropez. A visit here is one I won’t forget. I’d recommend it to anyone.
