The staff were friendly, and the site is well placed for seeing the area by bike or car. It’s mostly mobile homes and lodges, with only a limited number of camping, caravan and campervan pitches in the central area. The pitches are an OK size, though the site feels quite compact. There’s a pool, but it was very busy with mostly kids when we were there. The bar and small shop have live music in the evening, and in high season a food stall comes by each evening. The main downside was the limited number of toilets and showers. Several were blocked or dirty during the afternoon and evening we stayed.

We’d love to come back, it’s a very nice place. The thing that could be improved is the paid Wi-Fi. Charging for it feels a bit medieval these days.

Our daughter had a great time in the pool, and we enjoyed the campsite too. The facilities were excellent, clean, and child-friendly. It’s a good area for cycling, with several routes nearby, and you can walk to St Valery centre in about 25 minutes. We’d stay again. The one letdown was the bar closing at 6 pm, although it may stay open later in July and August.

We had a pitch at this nice little campsite. Reception staff were pleasant, and the bar staff were mostly fine too. There were mainly French guests. A couple of bar staff had trouble understanding our French, as we’re English.

The campsite has a pool and play areas, plus a cafe and a shop. That shop was a lifesaver on Sunday, when everything else in St. Valery shut at 12:30. It’s also an easy walk to the town center, and we’d stay again. The sanitation blocks are large and clean, but there are no toilet seats and the showers could be better. The water only runs for 4 seconds at a time and comes out very powerfully. You have to keep pressing the button to keep it warm, since it cools down very quickly. I hope they improve the shower situation before we return.
