Veyrinas 43

We had a wonderful few days here. The hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming.

We had excellent food here, and the hosts typically eat with guests, which added to the family atmosphere. The views are fantastic, and it’s a great place to stop if you’re visiting the local area.

Ann and Kris were warm, attentive hosts at their peaceful haven, “Veyrinas 43.” The residential buildings sit on a beautifully maintained 8-hectare property, a lovely green setting. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast on the big terrace, with the Loue River below among the greenery. Next time we’ll stay at least four nights so we can make the most of the pool and the enchanting surroundings. It’s also a great base for exploring southern Haute Vienne, including St Yrieix la Perche, northwest Corrèze, such as Ségur-le-Château and Arnac Pompadour, and northeastern Dordogne around Hautefort.

After a good breakfast, we headed off the next day feeling rested and ready to go. This is a great stop for motorcyclists, and Ann and her husband gave us a very warm welcome. They’ve made the place especially pleasant, and it’s affordable too. At the end of the day, you can relax by the lovely pool before sitting down to a delicious homemade meal. You won’t be disappointed.
