Villa Alecya

We stayed for two nights and will definitely come back. The hosts were so warm and welcoming, and the house was spotlessly clean. We had excellent breakfast on the terrace and in the garden room. We'd seen the photos, but they still didn't prepare us for how beautiful the villa is. The place is wonderfully spacious, and every detail feels just right. A real gem.

Set in a small, quiet village not far from the main road between Paris and Bordeaux, this place is well situated for castles and wine in the area. It's an elegant, comfortable boutique bed and breakfast with a fascinating history. Anna, the lovely hostess, showed us around the different rooms and made our stay special. Breakfast included a nice range of local produce, including homemade jams and bread.

Don't miss dinner and breakfast here. The home cooked dinner was better than almost any restaurant we've had while traveling. Christophe & Anne were fabulous hosts, and we wished we'd stayed longer. This newly restored 18th century French manor is a wonderful stop when traveling from south to north, right in the Loire and close to wineries and Chateaus. It really feels like stepping into a storybook. We hope to return.

Everything about our stay at Villa Alecy was great, and we hope to come back one day. Our hosts were very kind and spoke excellent English. The rooms were clean, stylish and had comfortable beds. The food we were served during our stay was the cherry on top. There was truly nothing more we could have asked for.
