We felt so at home at Mas Peu Del Causse that I wanted to look after the place as if it were my own. Pascal made us feel welcome from the start, even though my girlfriend and I are 19-year-old Americans. He was friendly, served a perfect breakfast, and gave us lovely recommendations. The building was spotless, quiet, and beautifully decorated, and the jacuzzi was comfortable too. I’m studying abroad in Barcelona, and we drove more than two hours for a weekend here. It was completely worth it. Castlenou was beautiful, and having a car meant we could explore nearby towns. I’d come back and recommend this place to everyone I know.

In a picturesque village, May Peu del Causse is a very pretty building. Pascal was a charming host, and our room was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was just what we’d asked for and set us up well for the day. I’d highly recommend staying there.

We loved the walks near Mas Peu Del Causse, and the coast and medieval villages inland are only about a 30-minute drive away. The owner was so helpful and friendly, always willing to go the extra mile. Our spacious room and bathroom were modern and very clean, and breakfast was perfect every morning. The garden is thoughtfully laid out and decorated. We’ll be back!

The house has a cosy feel and an unusual layout, with three separate renovated buildings among flowers, plants, birds, attractive decor, and lovely art. We ate outside in the garden, and our room had its own shower and bathroom. There was also a shared kitchen and living room, plus parking, a jacuzzi, and good wifi. Breakfast came with locally made jams and honey. Our host was wonderful, attentive to what we needed and made us feel very welcome. It’s a handy base for exploring by car: hiking trails start almost at the door, the beach is a 40-minute drive, and the castle is 15 minutes away. There are also plenty of farmers markets nearby with great local fruit and wines. I’d recommend it to anyone staying in the region with a car.

Pascal and his partner made us feel at home, and breakfast in their enchanting garden was a treat each morning. We had a wonderful stay at Mas Peu del Causse at the end of July. The spacious, comfortable rooms came with air conditioning, a desk, an armchair, and free high-speed Wi-Fi. There’s a kitchenette for making tea or coffee, plus a solarium and jacuzzi for unwinding after exploring. Free parking on site was really useful too. Thuir and other lovely villages, including Castelnou, are close by. Thanks again for looking after us. We couldn’t have asked for more and hope to return soon. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Thuir or the surrounding area.
